Edith DeMello, 85, of Honolulu, passed away on December 26, 2014. She was born in Honolulu, HI. She was a retired Underwriter. She is survived by brother, Peter (Kay) DeMello Jr.; daughter, Michele (Marc) Kinosita; grandchildren, Read Obituary
Edith was my mentor and trainer when I first started underwriting at Pacific Insurance. She was patient and always spent time to teach and let me know the rules and reasons involved in forms and insurance manuals. To this day, I still regard her as one of those that help develop my interest in this industry. Edith was always a respected professional and friend. She was always passionate about her family and heading to Vegas. In recent years, I saw her in past years, helping her son at the Foster Garden sales and always had a smile and warm welcome. The right words are always difficult at this time to offer true comfort but I hope that great and many memories of Edith will help as you move forward. I send my sincerest condolences and sympathy.
