Mike, while our memories of you in San Diego were tough times, I will never forget how you stood strong for your family. Our family. I watched you be strong for my cousin when bad news kept coming, while Blair was taking medical hits left and right. You held your head up with confidence and strength, and set the example for us. I can't believe the turn of events. I cry for my cousin and my nephew. But I know that you are in heaven now with your mom. Where you will always be young and healthy, and where you can always watch over your wife and son.
Thank you for blessing our family. You will be so missed. We love you.

My family's fondest memories of Mike are the ones where family gathered marking special days..Mother's Day, Thksgvg at Uncle Rays house, Christmas meals at GM Charmaines (your awesome case of chicharron didn't last long), Logan's 1st Birthday…and many others… sharing a meal was the simplest & kindest act to show your love and acceptance of our family!! we enjoyed it & think you did too!! You showed your great strength in keeping things steady and sane for you & Kanoe for the 2 months immediately after Logan was born …till coming home!!…and for giving us our Logan Blair…we are forever grateful to you for keeping them safe in your care!!
