I called him Ross until Nette started calling him Papa Ross so the kids could have a special name to call him I suppose, so I called him Pop.
I was having trouble trying to remember what our relationship was like. I knew what it was like but I couldn't remember details. And then I remembered how when I was a teenager he decided to overhaul his car engine.
He let me help him. I was so happy! We spent hours each day taking things apart, I could hardly wait for the next day. And then we put new parts in. And when we got it all put together, we then spent days pushing that car all around the block trying to get it started. It took awhile to get the timing set right and I don't remember if we got everything working perfect, but I loved working on that car with my friend, my father.
