Judy Midori Kouke

Judy Midori Kouke, 67, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away at Navian Hospice Kailua after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 24, 1954 and raised in Maunawili Valley, Kailua, Oahu. After graduating from Kailua High School in 1972, she received her Bachelors in Education from UH Manoa. She was a teacher at Washington Intermediate School before making a move to the City & County of Honolulu Satellite City Hall DMV. She enjoyed working with her ohana at the Ala Moana and Pearl Ridge branches for over 34 years as a customer service representative helping people. Judy loved her dog, Xena, enjoyed traveling, sightseeing, visiting with friends, and shopping. She was an avid Hawaii Bicycle League and Honolulu Marathon volunteer who enjoyed participating in 10K and Great Aloha Runs and was a Life member of Nisei VFW Post 8985 Auxiliary. Loved and respected for her unwavering devotion to family, friends, and customers, she will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by sister Toshiko Mary (Andy) Rosenau, brothers: Roland, Wilfred (Robin) and Lester Kouke, nieces: Naomi (Wayne) Davidson, Robin Rosenau, Kristin Kouke; nephew: Bradley Kouke. Memorial services: April 25, 2022, 5:30 – 8 p.m. at Valley of the Temples, Kaneohe, HI. Casual attire. Private burial: April 26, 2022
