Patrick William Torres

May 12, 1943 - February 3, 2022

Patrick William Torres, 78, passed away quietly in his home in Kailua on February 3, 2022 after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Pat was raised in Kalihi as the eldest of four children of Henry Almeida Torres and Rita Maryanne (Oku) Torres. He was a graduate of the St. Louis High School Class of 1961. His technical school training led him to a long career at Xerox in all fields. His work with Xerox Management took him to Northern California where he eventually joined his wife Lisa in Residential Real Estate. He was adored by his colleagues and friends for his quiet and gentle manner and radiant smile. As his disease progressed, Pat chose to return to Hawaii to be near family in his final years. Over his lifetime, Pat had two wives and two families that learned to grow together and celebrate. While he loved everything about cars, family get-togethers were his favorite thing. He is survived by his wife Lisa Crosby-Torres and his children Malia Hope Torres (Cesar), Patricia Nalani Iseri (Darren) and Michael Anthony Torres (Brenda) as well as his sister Henriette “Kehau” Miyamoto (Stanford) and his brothers Henry (Phyliss) and Harvey (whose beautiful wife Frances “Mapuana” preceded Pat’s passing by two weeks). Pat was blessed with Grandchildren: Brandi Jean Nalani Balutski (Willy), Brittney Kekahaualani Kalai Balutski (Shane), Charyse Klem (Mike) and Kennedy Nalani Torres and Great-grandchildren: Railey Ka’eo Akau, Kauakaiakua Kauai and Lilliana Rey Kalai Balutski.
