It is odd that I've come across this site. I have such warm and loving memories for my friend and doctor. I still can not believe that he is not here with us on earth. The reason I find it strange is that I stumbled on this site....I just woke up from a nap in which I had a dream about Dr. B! In my dream we are at Sears Dept store for Some reason! I remeber being so angry with him. In my dream I was shouting at him asking him how could he do this to us and his family! How could he just leave us! This is so true and correct.....but waking up to the reality of his death made me even sadder.

I knew Christian Boyens from high school (Kalaheo) we called him q-tip with his golden blonde hair. How funny he became my Doctor he was more then my doc he was my mentor and a great friend. We talked about everything under the sun surfing, jet skiing, and his love for his new family Krista and CJ. When I found out he passed away I was so divistated and cryed almost everyday we the community lost a great Doctor and a wonderful friend you will never be forgotten! See you in heaven my friend!

I've never trusted a doctor before to tell the whole crazy, ugly truth of my past until I met Christian. With him, nothing seemed embarassing or humiliating. He started as my doctor and turned into my friend when we learned that we both shared a passion for helping others. The feeling of loss is profound. Much love to his wife, son, family & friends.

Dear Krista, CJ, and the Boyens family, I had the pleasure of growing up with Christian. I don't remember a day without Christian having a smile (sometimes impy) on his face from Kindergarten until he moved away to HI. Some people can light up a room, and Christian was one of those people. He will be missed by so many, but especially his family. I know I will see him again, and I put my hope in this. Much love,

Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of Christian Boyens.
He sounds like so many of the family members. Most are great athletes and very fun loving.
That he was a doctor and cared so much for his patients is so wonderful to hear. Wish we had gotten to know him better.
