The expansive, air-conditioned chapel opens to a large covered lanai with dining facilities for family and friends to gather – all in one of the most spectacular settings on the island.

- Why did Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary move?
For over fifty years, the ownership of Valley of the Temples was in a long-term lease agreement with the owners of Hawaiian Memorial Park to operate a mortuary business on the property of Hawaiian Memorial Park. The lease had many renewal options with the last expiring in February 2019. The owners of the cemetery declined to negotiate a new lease. In order to continue to serve our families in the way we have for over the last half century, we decided to construct a new facility on the beautiful grounds of Valley of Temples.

No. Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary will continue to serve your family from its new home at Valley of the Temples. The new Valley of the Temples location is a short 7-minute drive down the road and features brand new construction and more options to serve your family. The new facility honors the historical legacy of the original structure and affords beautiful views of the Ko'olau mountains and Kaneohe Bay.

The new mortuary is larger, more modern and better equipped than the previous location – and it's situated within one of the most spectacular memorial parks in the world. We're extremely proud to provide families with this new, welcoming space to honor loved ones surrounded by the beauty and majesty of Valley of the Temples.
- Does the new mortuary have a lanai or kitchen?
The new facility has a large covered lanai with dining facilities making it suitable for light refreshments or a full hot meal. The new lanai overlooks the park, making it a picturesque setting for family and friends to gather.
- What if I have arranged cemetery space at Hawaiian Memorial Park?
The new mortuary is only a 7- minute drive from Hawaiian Memorial Park and services between the mortuary and cemetery will be seamless. If you have space at Hawaiian Memorial Park and would now prefer space at Valley of the Temples, call us at (808) 451-2637 to discuss your options.
