My amazing grandpa, my first ever best friend, and my one and only father figure. I have endless memories of you that I hold so dear to my heart. You’re the only one who had the patience to help me with my homework but still let me play hookie from school and take me to the store to buy whatever I wanted. After school or work I’d run into the patio jump on the couch and watch hours of shows and movies that you recorded for me because you knew what I’d like, oh how I looked forward to that every single day. I’d always say “I’m your favorite grandchild yeah?” And you’d always laugh and say “shhhhh, don’t tell no body” 😂 You always told me stories of the good old days and gave me advice that I never really understood when I was younger but now that I’m an adult I live by each word as if I could hear your voice in my head. Grandpa, you’ve taught me so much and I’m the person I am today because of you. It was always a goal of mine to make you proud because you’ve done so much for me. I miss your laugh, your jokes & just everything about you. But it’s never goodbye, until we meet again “pallywally” I love you so much!
