“Uncle Fudge” or “Mr. Fuji”, 94, of Kaneohe passed away on March 11, 2021. Born on May 8, 1929 in Waikane and graduated from Benjamin Parker High School in 1944. He was a WWII Army veteran, taxi driver and owner of the Fuji Deli and Restaurant that he built with his wife, Louise (predeceased). He is survived by three sons, one daughter, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. On April 5, 2021, a celebration of his life will be held in a private family service at 10:am, followed by a public walk through viewing at 11:am at the Valley of the Temples chapel on the hill. Burial at the Veteran’s Cemetery will follow.
