Abraham Hwi Won Kim's Obituary
Abraham Hwi Won Kim, 89, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2017. He was born on February 1, 1928 in South Korea. As an adult, Abraham, wife Sarah Kea Nam Kim and their four children moved to Hawaii where he worked as an accomplished businessman and entrepreneur in the import-export business of printing equipment. While in Hawaii, Abraham was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church in Honolulu where he attended services in his native language of Korean. Abraham was preceded in death by his father, Hyun-Jo Kim and mother, Oh-Kum Lee. He is survived by wife: Sarah Kea Nam Kim, children: Michael I. Kim (Susan), Grace C. Kim (Kenneth), Solomon H. Kim (Diane), and Peter H. Kim. He has also been blessed with nine grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Christ United Methodist Church. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. A lunch reception will follow the service at the church and burial will then be held at Diamond Head Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m.
