💔🥺 “If there ever comes a day where we can’t be together, keep me in your heart and I’ll stay there forever”.💜🌈🌦️ I am so grateful that so many of my childhood memories were filled with happy moments of you and the rest of the family, Grandpa Abe. From as young as I can remember (like 5-6 years old), I will never forget the countless Sunday mornings where I’d wake up to Grandma Virgie singing, “this is the day, this is the day that the lord has made...”and sharing a cup of coffee and a plate of eggs scrambled with tomato and onion and Vienna sausage or spam with Grandpa, just talking about school or what I wanted to be when I grow up. I remember saying, “I wanna be a physical therapist”. Because everyone used to tell me I was good a giving neck and back massages. As I look back, I realized that they probably just said that to get me to do free neck and back massages. 🥲Either way, I cling onto those memories as I try to cope with the loss of you. I will always remember your words of wisdom, value for education, and all the families you helped throughout your lifetime. When I graduate from college this year, I will hold a space for you in my heart, knowing that you believed that I could do it and picture your proud smile from heaven. I miss you already. I’ll think of you every time I drink my morning cup of coffee☕ 🙏🏽💙Rest in Love, until we meet again💙🙏🏽 I love you, Grandpa Abe🌦️🌻
