Adele "Del" Cootey, age 84, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on July 16th, 2026 in Kaneohe, Hawaii. She was born on April 4th, 1942 in Waimea, Hawaii.
Throughout her life Del was known for being hardworking, confident, and determined. These qualities were most recently reflected when she started a new position at Honda as Body Shop Manager.
Del is survived by her spouse Charmaine Rogers, She is also survived by her hanai children Michelle Suan, Michael "Mike" Kalekini, Iwa Iosefa, Hannah Silva, Duke Rogers and Raenae Kanakaole Kahele.
The family asks that Del be remembered for the dedication she brought to every task and for the strength she showed each day.
