Adele “Del” Cootey, age 84, passed peacefully on July 16th, 2026 in Kaneohe, Hawaii. She was born on April 4th, 1942 in Waimeha, Hawaii.
Throughout her life, Mrs. Cootey was known for being hardworking, confident, and determined. These qualities were most recently reflected when she started a new position at Honda as Body Shop Manager.
Mrs. Cootey is survived by her partner, Charmaine Rogers. She is also survived by her children, Michael “Mikey” Kalekini, Wesley “Duke” Rogers, Michelle Suan, Iwa Iosefa, Hanna “Eleu” Silva, and Raenae Kanakaolekahele.
The family asks that Adele be remembered for the dedication she brought to every task and for the strength she showed each day.
