Adeline Theresa Brash's Obituary
Adeline Theresa Brash, 84, of Honolulu, passed away on May 19, 2019.
She was born on October 21, 2019 in Honolulu; she was the eldest out of four children born to Edward and Sarah (Kahikina) Teixeira.
She married Calvin Brash in 1974.
A career food service manager for AAFES and the Navy Exchange, Addie loved tennis, was an avid basketball fan and happily volunteered her time in support of the food pantry, for Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Pius X Catholic Church. She was a member of the Hale o Na Ali’i o Hawai’i, Halau o Po’omaikelani.
A loving mother, grandmother, and sister, Addie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
“Addie” is preceded in death by parents, Edward and Sarah Teixeira and husband, Calvin A. Brash.
She is survived by two sons, David (Leilani) Arioli and Ron Arioli; and daughter, Deanna Kaufman of Florida; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by sisters, Mary Ng, Sally Ann (Gary) Ishikawa, and brother, Ed (Sammy) Teixeira.
Visitation for her wake service will be held at Diamond Head Mortuary from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2019; service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Visitation also for her funeral service will be held at Star of the Sea Catholic Church from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019; eulogy to begin at 10:30 a.m., Mass following eulogy, with burial 12:30 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
