Adolph Richard Cardoza's Obituary
Adolph Richard "Didi" Cardoza, 92 of Honolulu, passed away January 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Honolulu June 9, 1925 to parents Antone Gonsalves Cardoza and Elizabeth Louise Placido Cardoza. Adolph worked as a machinist at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and retired after years of service. He also achieved the rank of Sergeant in the United States Army and served during World War II.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Alberta S. Cardoza; daughter, Bernadette Cardoza Dabalos; son, Roland Thomas Cardoza; grandchildren, Jason Neal Dabalos, Matthew Tomoyoshi Cardoza and Michael Hiroaki Cardoza; 5 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; brother, Antone Cardoza, Jr.; sisters, Barbara Spinnato and Patricia Hampton.
Private services for Didi were held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. He was buried with military honors at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
