Albert Jeremiah Kane Jr.'s Obituary
Albert Jeremiah Kane, Jr., 63, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on November 4, 2016. He was the third of seven children born to Adelyn Roseanne Kekula Leilani (Crawford) and Albert Jeremiah Kane, Sr. in Honolulu, Hawaii on November 2, 1953.
Albert attended Kalani High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served from 1971 to 1973 during the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of LCpl. Albert received the following medals for his service: Vietnam Service Medal with one (1) Star and a National Defense Service Medal.
Albert was a food processor for Unisea Fishery Company in Dutch Harbor, Alaska working there for 17 years. He was also a carpenter and a wood maker at Martin & MacArthur and a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
Albert lived in Honolulu, Hawaii; Dutch Harbor, Alaska; and San Diego, California.
Albert was with his girlfriend Kerin, for one year. He was very close with his cousins, Warren, Sonny Boy, Karen, Frank and Linda; friends, Ron and Terry and other friends from Dutch Harbor; Donna, Zelma and Kerin.
Albert was involved with the “Lucky Penny” Baseball Team from 1985-1986.
An important event in Albert’s life was his three children, Malia, Chantelle and Blaine “Baba”.
Albert enjoyed playing darts, board games, watching wrestling and football. Albert liked listening to Hawaiian and Country Music. He loved to make things as a carpenter such things like cutting boards and a bench table for his sister Penny.
Albert was a joker, who had a calm mellow personality and was sincere, sweet and considerate.

Albert is survived by his son, Blaine “Baba” Kane, daughters, Malia Kane and Chantelle Kane; brother, Derrick Lee Kane; sisters, Frances Soares, Nadine “Dee Dee” Kane-Brennan, Penny “Kealani” Ellsworth, Kandy Otsuji and Marlene Shui Len Kane, of Washington; 12 grandchildren.
Service for Albert will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m., service to begin at 11:30 a.m., burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter.
