I'll never forget sitting in your lap at the beach house, waking up in your room thinking a lizard climbed on me, all the rides to the country in your Isuzu, having fun at UH games, delivering Lanakila Meals on Wheels, watching golf with you, playing Jumble puzzles from the newspaper, cheering on the Governors & the list goes on & on & on, the memories shared are endless Papa. One fond memory I have is the day you surprised me at my basketball game, I will never forget searching through the crowd & seeing you walk in with the biggest smile. It was one of the best surprises of my life to see you cheering me on that day, I wish you knew just how much that meant to me but I'm pretty sure you did & I will forever hold it close to my heart. I will forever cherish your tough yet tender love, your strength & hard work, the funny tricks & games you would play but most of all I will never forget every little bit of life's lessons and values that you have instilled in me. You were more than just my Papa, you were a role model & a solid foundation that I knew would always be there for me no matter where life would take me. I miss you so much Papa and I hope each day I continue to make you proud. Not a day will go by where I won't think of you, miss you & ever stop loving you.
