Alberto E. Alia's Obituary
Alberto E. Alia of Pearl City, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard welder, retired custodian at Campbell High School and Leeward Bowl, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Army, passed away July 13, 2016. He was born November 21, 1925 in Honolulu to parents Kerieo Alia and Modesta Isabida Alia.
He is survived by three sons, Alberto E. Alia, Jr., Brian Alia and Christopher E. Alia; daughter, Marilyn (Mansfield) Cintron; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Bicoy, Hermie Inocelda and Severina Carinio; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. Committal service and burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested and flowers are welcome.
