Alexander "Bobby" Robert Fraser's Obituary
Alexander "Bobby" Robert Fraser, born on Sept. 30, 1940 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Waialua High School where he spent many years before moving to Kailua. Bobby tells wonderful stories of his young life serving as an Altar Boy for many years in the Catholic Church.
He worked with Hawaiian Telephone for 10 yrs., until he was hired by the State of Hawaii Animal Quarantine Station. He transferred over to Meat Inspection Dept. and then over to DAGS Automotive Management Personnel, where he retired from in 2006.
Bobby & Lani were joined together in marriage in May 2001; residing in Kailua. They enjoyed working on Orchids together and belonged to several Orchid Clubs. He loved gardening and creating fish ponds & aquariums.
Bobby was hard working, strong, generous & kind. He was always telling stories and joking and he will be missed so much. Loved by all who knew him, he was always willing to help anyone in need. Bobby loved & took great pride in everything he did. He taught those younger than himself how to do anything with pride and even had his own company called "DO ANY THING." He passed away on May 17, 2015; peacefully at his home, surrounded by love.
He is survived by his wife, Piilani Staszkow Fraser; his sons, Rob Fraser & Brian Staszkow; his daughters, Heather Marie Fraser, Robin Kuulei (Louie) Duran & Dawn Uilani Staszkow; grandchildren, Johnny Duran, Dawn Duran, Genoveva Duran & Ikaika Karney; hanai grandchildren, Mikeal & Antonio Mann; great-grandchildren, Autumn Duran & Keala McCollum.
