Alford L. Irvine's Obituary
Alford Lelemia Irvine, 68 of Kāneʻohe and Waiʻanae, passed away on February 4, 2024 at Queens Medical Center West Oʻahu. He was born in Honolulu on April 10, 1955. Alford Is a US Army veteran and he worked for the Exchange at Schofield and various locations. On his free time, he enjoyed playing Hawaiian music and was a noted left-handed ‘ukulele player able to play a myriad of instruments by ear. Al’s ‘ohana loved getting together to kanikapila and he was kolohe (a rascal) with such a soothing Kanaka voice.
Alford is survived by his Wife: Jamie Irvine; Children: Dr. Lelemia Irvine, Aliah Irvine; Significant Other: Elaine Mills; Siblings: Alexander Elia Irvine, Deandurby Kaahanui, Ellory Irvine.
Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Valley of the Temples Mortuary. Visitation will be at 5pm with services to begin at 6pm. Inurnment will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10am at Hawaiʻi State Veterans Cemetery.
