Alfred Carvalho Jr.'s Obituary
Alfred Carvalho Jr., 81, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Hale Pulama Mau in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born on September 10, 1933 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Alfred and Margaret Carvalho. He was the oldest of five children. He was a security supervisor for the Liberty House Department Store and a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
He lived in Kapahulu and Kaneohe. He attended Kaimuki High School and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War where he attained the rank of Corporal.
He was a loving, giving, generous, strong and funny person who was loved by all who came into his life. He enjoyed martial arts, massage, laying net and listening to Hawaiian Music.
He is survived by son, Ryan Carvalho; daughters, Shelly Kaniaupio, Carla Rodrigues, and Renee Carvalho; brothers, Ken “Squirley”, Steve, and Richard Carvalho; nine grandchildren
Visitation: 4:00 – 4:45 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Kailua; Mass to begin at 5:00 p.m.
