Alfredo Doctolero Agni's Obituary
Alfredo Doctolero Agni, aged 102, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Born in the picturesque province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he lived a life filled with warmth, hard work, and love for the outdoors.
Alfredo dedicated many years to maintaining the grounds at Punahou School, where his diligent work left an indelible mark. Even after retirement, he remained active, tending to landscapes and gardens. The sun was his constant companion, and he reveled in its golden embrace.
A true sports enthusiast, Alfredo found solace in watching boxing matches. His favorite pugilist was none other than the legendary Manny Pacquiao. In the Philippines, he also dabbled in cattle trading, a testament to his resourcefulness and business acumen.
Beneath his stern exterior lay a heart as vast as the Pacific Ocean. Alfredo was strict but compassionate, always quick to lend a helping hand. His legacy lives on through his devoted wife, Faustina, their seven children, twenty grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and an impressive twenty-one great-great-grandchildren.
As the sun sets over the Hawaiian horizon, we bid farewell to a remarkable man who touched countless lives. May Alfredo’s memory continue to shine brightly, just like the sun he cherished.
Rest in peace, dear Alfredo. Your legacy lives on in the hearts of generations to come.
