Alice Balabala Bailey's Obituary
90, Alice Balabala Bailey, of (Aliamanu) Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on the beautiful island of Maui, in Wailuku to her parents, Regina (Diego) and Apolinario Balabala , on December 12, 1927.
Alice attended school up until High School where she earned her diploma.
She was a very smart, loving and caring woman. Alice did work as a cashier for many years for the Government. She was such a hard worker, even though she worked so much, she still managed to make sure all her families needs were met. Alice had a big family and a lot of responsibilities, but she always had a positive attitude and a very giving heart.
She is survived by her Daughter, Stella Barnum; Sons: Russell Valdez, Robert Valdez, Richard Valdez, Ronnie (Julie) Valdez, David Bailey;
Grandchildren, Alice Walker, Russell Valdez Jr., Richard James Keone Valdez, Malia Hokulani Palmer, Ryan James Kawika Valdez, Sean Valdez-Miller,Leilani Konyshev, Halia Janssen, Ronnie Valdez II, Nohelani Bailey, Brandon Bailey, David Bailey II, Alexis Camara-Bailey,Alyssa Bailey;
Great Grandchildren, Rudy Amezquita, Sabrina M. Valdez, Matthew J. Valdez, Kristalyn Reyn Kaulana Valdez, Rayleen Jae Ku'uipo Valdez, Ikaika James Luis Valdez, Keialani Lehua Palmer, Damien Paul Likeke Palmer, Ashlee Valdez, Isabella Valdez, Kay-Loni Valdez, Carter Valdez-Miller, Riley Valdez-Miller, Elijah Ray Bailey, Zane Lucas Bailey, and Elijah Gunnar Bailey.
Celebration of life services for Alice will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with Committal service to follow 1:00 p.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
