Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Sister passed away peacefully on August 1, 2011 surrounded by family. Alice 91, of Waianae Hawaii was a Homemaker. Survived by daughters, Jeanette (Nelson) Mize and Joyce A. True; son, James (Rhoda); brother, John (Sylvia) Martins of San Pedro CA; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grand-children and many hanai grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held on (Tuesday) August 16, 6:00p.m. At Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary and also on (Wednesday) August 17 at 11:00a.m., burial to follow 2:00p.m. At Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.Lord, Thank you for the Angel you lent us for awhile, she brought us so much laughter and an everlasting smiles. She loved us, and inspired us. She was our own guiding light, but now she shines in heaven with wings so pure and white. So when our feelings run rampant and our tears begin to fall, her spirit will surround us lending comfort to us all. A Golden heart stopped beating hard, working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. You will forever be missed.
