Alice Maurine Johnson's Obituary
Alice Maurine Johnson passed away peacefully on May 14 at the Angelwood Country Home in Athol Idaho. Alice was born in Mount Vernon, Washington to Maurice and Myrtle Paulson. She married Charles Johnson in 1936, and they later moved to Southern California. Alice lived in Hawaii from 1978-2011 and loved her new found home in the Hawaiian Islands. She enjoyed traveling and travelled to all seven continents. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours in her garden with her beloved orchids. Alice was a third generation Seventh Day Adventist and was a member of the Diamond Head Church in Oahu. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles and daughter Vonnie. She is survived by her son Charles Loren Johnson, two grandsons Steven and Thomas Johnson, and two great granddaughters Anna and Emily Johnson. A graveside service will be held for Alice on June 6 at 1PM at the Punchbowl in Oahu Hawaii, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband.
