Alice Hu Chew Yee's Obituary
Alice Hu Chew Yee, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away July 25, 2017 in Honolulu at the age of 81. She was born in Honolulu on April 17, 1936 to parents Wo Yick Lee and Shee Siu Lee, and retired as the head custodian at Ala Wai Elementary School after more than 20 years of service. A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Alice attended the Kaneohe First Ward, and in earlier years also attended the Manoa and McCully Wards.
She is survived by children, Michael (Susan) Yee, Milton (Lynette) Yee, Tammy (Ricardo) Yee-Custodio, and Malcolm Yee; grandchildren, Gabriel Custodio, Dylan Custodio, Trevor Yee and Taylor Yee; brother, Robert Lee; sister, Evelyn Chun
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers welcome. Aloha attire.
