Sunnie Dee Sinclair,
Allen Bernard Ray,was married to my sister Barbra for 45 years. I remember wen she introduced him to me my mom and dad,he stood tall and stern and said with a confident tone 'hello'. we all go thru roller coster rides several time in our life time and I think at that time she was on one of um. She became a happy camper and was enjoying her new found love. Al was always pleasant and never had nothing bad to say and if he did he said it finesse or humor, I never saw him angry or loose his cool. We had family holidays at their home and almost every occasion had a sticky situation after mat he still held his happy "I don't give dam " arua. Every time my sister would talk about him or to him she would have this big drawn smile and her eyes little closed like a Japanese girl and would say "yea honey" and his answer would always be Even if he wasn't listening "thats right".I know my sister will always hold that smile in her heart for him. He reminds me of a strict harsh drill Sargent but with a heart. I will call him big AL cuz that was some big shoes to fill being married to Barbra Sinclair. He regulated her and knew jus wat she needed wen she got fussy. He will b missed along with his great honors and up most respect he accomplished serving his country. "BIG AL"
I will miss Uncle Al, he was a very honorable man. Very kind at heart and I always enjoyed visiting him and Aunty Bobby at their home. I’m very proud we got to have him part of our family. I love you Uncle Al! A Hui Hou “Until we meet again”
Uncle Al had a kind & cheerful spirit, always happy to see everyone. My memories visiting uncle Al and aunt Bobbi was short & sweet everytime, you will be missed.
Dad was fun! Happy and laughing! I liked that about him. He loved with hugs and kisses, I liked that about him too! If you needed him then just call and he’d help if he could, always willing to lend a hand. I talked to him on the phone weekly and he wasn’t one for conversations but a quick how you doing and as long as things were fine he was done. I will miss those phone calls! You are missed Dad, I love you! Amy
