Allen Roy Wehr's Obituary
Allen Wehr 93, of Honolulu a retired printer, died at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Hanamaulu, Kauai and moved to Oahu at an early age.
He loved Waikiki beach and started surfing at the age of six and continued into his 80’s.He lived most of his life in the Diamond Head area near the ocean.
He graduated from Roosevelt High School, attended the University of Hawaii and was an avid UH Football fan.
He was a veteran of World War II and after the war he lived in Paris for a year.
He was a devoted husband and father and will truly be missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Rose Wong Wehr, his son Wayne Wehr, his daughters, Wanda Wehr and Wendy (Pete) Petersen; grandson, William Allen Glisson and his two dogs, Lily and Sammy.
