Allen Sadao Yokomoto Jr. 's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Allen Sadao Yokomoto Jr., born January 21, 1929 in Koloa Kauai, Hawaii. Where he lived until 7 years old. His parents were Allen Sadao Yokomoto Sr. and Florence Yachiyo Yokomoto. He was the only child. He attended Haleiwa Elementary, Haleiwa Intermediate, Iolani High School and University of Hawaii. He earned his B.S. at University of Hawaii. After graduation he began a career as a Teacher at Iolani High School before serving at Kahuku High as a Teacher, Coach and Counselor. He retired in 1985 after serving over 30 years. After retirement he was involved in Oahu Jr. Golf Activities and Jackie’s Travel Escort Services. He lived in Honolulu, Kahuku, Sunset Beach and Kaneohe. He was married to Kazue (Marian) on June 30, 1950 at St. Andrews Chapel. He passed away on Monday October 14, 2013 in Kaneohe, Hawaii. He was a sociable, layed-back, loyal, generous and jovial person. His most important events in his life were the birth of his children, coaching at Kahuku High School and being a University of Hawaii Basketball player. Some of Allen’s hobbies were spear-fishing, golfing and partying. His favorite music to listen to was Hawaiian Music and Classical Music. He is survived by wife, Kazue “Marian” Yokomoto; sons, Dane and Beau (Cindy) Yokomoto; daughter, Cyd Conner; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
His visitation will be held on Saturday November 2, 2013 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation will begin at 5:30p.m.; services at 6:30p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
