Amalia Magarro Ubasa's Obituary
Amalia Magarro "Aling" "Aunty Ali" Ubasa, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away July 10, 2017 at Queen's Medical Center. She was 81. Born in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to parents Martin Ubasa and Gregoria Magarro Ubasa, Amalia was a retired coding clerk for Bank of Hawaii and a data entry clerk for Gibraltar in Los Angeles. Amalia was predeceased by her husband, William Alabang Ubasa, on July 25, 2016.
Amalia is survived by her son, Tennyson "Tenny" (Proline) Ubasa; grandchildren, Richline Batoon, Brittenny Ubasa and Joshua Ubasa; brother, Amador (Elly) Ubasa; sister, Brigida (Eddie) Asperilla.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at the Kapahulu Bible Church, 3224 Kaunaoa Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96815. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Service will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a reception to follow. Committal service will be at 1:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
