Amelia Laureta Benitez's Obituary
Amelia Laureta "Mely" Benitez, 70, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away June 3, 2016 at Pali Momi Medical Center in Aiea. She was born December 10, 1945 in Bataan, Philippines to parents Amando Barbero Laureta and Juana Canlas Laureta. She worked in catering services as a pantry worker.
She is survived by husband, Pablito V. Benitez; daughters, Edita "Sunshine" Musgrove and Marlene Steinbrugge; sons, Modesto Mamaril, Jr., Antonio Mamaril and Marlon Mamaril; 12 grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30 2016, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. John Apostle and Evangelist Church (95-370 Kuahelani Avenue, Mililani, HI 96789). Eulogy will be at 10:30 a.m., Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon reception will follow at the church. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Flowers are welcome.
