She is survived by sons, Bryan Hoopii (Teresa) Asuncion (of Texas), Gary Kaipo (Melanie) Asuncion and Jay Kekaulike (Taya) Asuncion (of Oregon); daughters, Karin Joanne Asuncion Antonio, Susan Hiilei (Charles Ortiz) Asuncion and Jody Lokelani (Philip III) Asuncion Mendiola; brother, William E. Kahaluakea Ancahas (Of Illinois); uncles, William Pakani (of Hilo) and Rufino "Roy" Danno; many cousins, in-laws, nieces and nephews; 13 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 9 step great-grandchildren and one step great-great grandson.
