Angeline May Serikaku's Obituary
Angeline May Serikaku, 86, of Waipahu, Hawaii passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 peacefully at her home. She was born on January 1, 1930 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Manuel Farias and Virginia Gomes. She was a homemaker.
With Angeline, no matter what anyone would say, she was “always right”. This is what made her who she was, a “very strong lady”. She so loved being around and spending time with her grandchildren and going to the beach.
Angeline will be remembered as a woman of strength, love, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunty. In the words of her family she was a “Typical Local Wahine”.
She is survived by her sons, Mathew Cabral and David Serikaku; daughters, Donna Kahakelii and Gordean Serikaku; brothers, George Farias and John Farias; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
Visitation 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – located at 94-675 Farrington Highway, Waipahu, Hawii 96797; Mass to begin at 12:00 p.m. burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
