Anita Ruth Smith's Obituary
82, of Kaaawa Hawaii, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Tripler Medical Center. Anita was born to James Roy Green and Anges Viola Brackett Green in Bakersfield California. Anita later met the love of her life, William H. Smith and together they lived the life of a military family, traveling to various locations where William was stationed. During one of their military assignments, Anita and William adopted four children, within a 10-month period, to raise as their own. Anita is survived by husband, William H. Smith, her four children; Andrew Smith, David (Shannon) Smith, Ann-Marie Smith & Jennifer (Ryan) Arnold, and two incredibly beautiful granddaughters. Family will be celebrating her life on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at One Love Church located at 670 Auahi Street A5 Honolulu, HI 96813. Visitation: 10:30 a.m. Service: 11:00 a.m. and a 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii State Veterans' Cemetery located at 45-349 Kamehameha Hwy. Kaneohe, HI 96744.
