Anna Lahaina Ventura's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Anna Lahaina Ventura. Born on March 23, 1953 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her parents were Anthony Camara Ventura Jr. and Anna Lahaina Kahanu. She was the eldest of 7 children. Four girls and 3 boys. Jarline, Leerome, Lreanural, Antonette, Jerome and Keith. She attended Roosevelt High School but received her diploma from Waipahu Adult School. She continued her education at LLC to receive her associates degree in social work. Her heart was to help people in need, she volunteered at Waianae Community Outreach were she put together the first Christmas on the beach event to help needy families. She was an advocate for homeless families on the Waianae coast. She was also a strong Christian. She attended New Hope Leeward and was involved in the bulletin and prayer team. Anna is a fighter, kind hearted, shy and loved with her whole heart. She loved watching Korean movies and reading her Bible. Her favorite music were Praise & Worship, Hawaiian and Oldie but goodies. She is survived by her two daughters, Minda Takaki and Tina Rogers. Her 5 grandchildren, Maile-Lani, Kamuela, Piper, Tianna and Dallas. Her great grandchild, Alaka’i. Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Visitation to begin at 5:30 p.m.; Service at 6:30 p.m..
