Annette and I were always good friends. Every time I ever came home, Annette would always bring me bird of paradise from her yard, and we would end up spending the time visiting and laughing, ending up atyothets grave, still laughing and talking story. My last visit home I stayed just around the corner from her house. The day we were leaving, Annette was standing in her yard with plumeria lei for me, my daughter and my granddaughter. I cherish my memories of our times together. Annette was a dear, dear friend.
