Antone "Tony" Joseph Gomes Melin's Obituary
Antone “Tony” Joseph Gomes Melin, 76, of Kaneohe, Oahu passed away on August 19, 2016 at Castle Medical Center. Antone was born to Joseph Gomes Melin and Bernice Liborio in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 21, 1940.
Antone was a loss prevention officer for both the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel and Royal Hawaiian Hotel. He was also a United States Navy Veteran.
Antone is survived by his brother, Stephen (Beverly) Melin; sister, Joann (Cary) Goldner; nephews, David Salangsang and George Goldner; nieces, Sherri Salangsang, Christie Salangsang, Sarah Goldner, Tammy Melin, Carrie D’April and Cassi Melin.
Service for Antone will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.; service to begin at 10:00 a.m. burial to follow11:00 a.m. at the Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter with military honors to be rendered.
