Antonina Cristobal Viernes, 88 of Aiea, HI has passed away at Halemalamalama in Hawaii Kai, Hawaii on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. She was born to Olympia Bareng and Arcadio Cristobal in Philippines on May 10, 1929. She cherished her family and was a dedicated Homemaker.
Antonina is preceded in death by, brothers, Simeon, Paquito, Ernesto, Aquino; children, Juan Santiago, Mito Santiago.
She is survived by brothers, Ising and Felix; sister, Violeta; children, Editha Alonzo, Estelita/Thelma Micua (Ferdinand), Freda Santiago, Pacita Viernes-Nilo (Lauro), Ireneo Viernes (Gina), Antonio Viernes (Teresita), Nathaniel Viernes (Divina), (Lyann), Linnette Takenaka (Gavin), Joann Viernes; stepchildren, Jesusa Barit (Arce, Sr.), Wilma Salangsang, Mariano Viernes (Feliz), Lorma Viernes, Marina Mychaskiw (George, Sr.); grandchildren, Edgilbert (Baberline), Ernel (Tess), Efren (Jenny), Ernesto, Jr (Arlyn), Ernietha, Elaine (Rendie), Jerry (Lucila), John (Saturnina), Nomer (Janette), Joseph (Jacylene), Marvin (Jennylyn), Michelle, Christine (Justin), Rebecca, Laureen, Leslie Annce, Laurie Anne, Irene Gina, Jeremie, Marc Anthony, Paul Andrew, Christian, Nicklaus, Aysen, Nathaniel, Jr., Trey, Denise, Michael (Rizza), Arce, Jr., Vaughn, Jonas, Marianne and George, Jr.; along with forty-five great grandchildren
Funeral services for Antonina will be on Tuesday , August 29, 2017 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary at 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. and service to follow at 7:00 p.m.. Additional services will commence on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Chapel at 47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with service to begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
