Archie Arsenio Toledo's Obituary
Archie Arsenio Toledo of Vallejo, California, beloved husband, dad, grandpa uncle, brother and papa, passed away at Adventist Health Castle Medical Center on November 26, 2019 in Kailua, Hawaii.
Archie was born on January 31, 1951 in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines,. He graduated from St. Lawrence Academy and soon after, married Beatriz Manegdeg and emigrated to Oahu, Hawaii in the United States. He graduated with an Associates degree from Kapiolani Community College while working full-time and providing for his wife and two young kids. His entire career centered around the medical field, starting off as an Accounting supervisor at St. Francis Medical Center in Honolulu and retiring as Controller at Lifelong Medical Care in Berkeley, California.
His many past hobbies included bowling, traveling the world with his wife, collecting Tommy Bahama shirts and leather jackets, doing his daily crossword and Sudoku puzzles in the newspaper, tending to his yard and garden, casting his bets at numerous casinos in Reno, Nevada, and obsessing over automobiles.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Aniceto and Apolonia Toledo and his eldest brother, Ernie, and leaves behind the love of his life and wife of 51 years, Beatriz “Betty”; son, Arsenio; daughter, Marie Stupeck and husband Mark; granddaughters, Moriah and Megan Stupeck; siblings Linda (Toribio) Sagucio, Mariano (Jovita) Toledo, Roger (Mildred) Toledo, Fe (Rodel) Virata, Efren (Terry) Toledo and many loved nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Church at 148A Makawao Street in Kailua at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 23, 2019, which will be preceded by a visitation at 10:30 AM. The inurnment of the cremated remains will be held at 1:00 PM at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 47-200 Kahekili Hwy in Kaneohe.
