Arnold "Blackie" K. Kala's Obituary
Arnold “Blackie” K. Kala, a resident of Aiea, Hawaii passed away on September 18, 2016 at the Castle Medical Center he was 66 years old. Blackie was born to Baylin Kepani (Koko) and Moses Mano Kala, Sr. He was a retired carpenter for K. A. N. Builders.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Kala; daughter, Shannon Kala; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Baylin Kala,
Steven Kala, Sharon Kala, Colbert Kala, Mary Ann Wilcox, Ruby Kahananui and Rechenda Kahananui.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kala.
Celebration of Life service for Blackie will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m., service to begin at 6:30 p.m.
