Arnubi Kimo Bruhn's Obituary
Arnubi Kimo Bruhn, 58, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 11, 2024 with his wife and kids by his side. He was a retired adult correctional officer from Halawa Correctional Facility. Kimo loved to play music, go golf, and travel.
He is survived by his Wife Jacklynn “Ua” Bruhn; Children: Arnubi “Kalei” Bruhn (Mimi), Patricia “Kuulei” Hema (Alika), Caroline “Tita” Favreau (Tim), Beverlyann “Missy” Bruhn, Alena Bruhn, & Abraham “Moku” Bruhn (Courtney), James “Jimmy” Elderts-Bruhn; mom - Emmaline Bruhn; Siblings: Halford Yamamoto (Jessie), Debbie Freeman (David), Zilpah Kaimiloa (decd.George), Mae Bruhn (Eddie), Martin “Smiley” Bruhn (Roxanne), James “Chubby” Bruhn, III (Lisa), James Bruhn, Jr. (Stacy), Winona Kauwe (decd. Keith), Ellen Kauka (Kenneth), Cynthia Weiving (Dwight), & Leone Yee (Anthony) & twenty-three Grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Valley of the Temple Chapel. Visitation will start at 9:30, service at 10:30, burial to follow at 1:00pm. Since Kimo was a huge San Francisco 49er fan, the family kindly asks that the guests wear red or your favorite 49ers gear.
