Today, we joyfully honor the vibrant life of Arte Aceret Acob. Born on September 30th, 1946, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Arte's journey was marked by hard work, kindness, and a generous spirit that touched the lives of many.
Arte's passion for cooking and travel brought joy and delightful experiences to his family and friends. His enthusiasm for exploring new places was especially evident in his cherished trips to Las Vegas, creating unforgettable memories with his loved ones.
A hardworking and responsible man, Arte dedicated his career to chemistry at Grace Pacific Construction. Even in retirement, his supportive nature and generosity continued to shine, leaving a lasting impact on his community.
Arte shared a beautiful life with his devoted spouse, Renee Acob, and was a proud father to his sons, Arne (Sue) Acob, James (Candace) Acob, Alan (Annell) Acob; daughter, Desiree (Arthur) Valeriano; Stepdaughters, Janessa (JP Path) Amian, Vanessa (Arnold) Ferraris, and Melissa (Samoa) Amituanai; and 20 grandchildren.
He is fondly remembered by his siblings Lillian Acosta, Danilo Acob, Rofel Acob, Ferdinand Acob, Olivia Baracao, and Annabell Mendoza. Arte was the beloved son of Feliza Acob and the late Rosito Acob.
His kindness, support, and generosity were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Arte's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the warm memories he created with those around him.
Though Arte passed away peacefully at his home in Waipahu, Hawaii on May 15th, 2025, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. We invite all who knew him to celebrate his remarkable life and the joy he brought into the world.
