Arthur Aiwohi III's Obituary
Arthur Aiwohi III, (Artie), 71, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Kaiser Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. He was born on May 4, 1944 in Honolulu, HI. He was the second of five children born to Arthur Aiwohi Jr and Helene Mildred Wond. Arthur was a graduate of Castle High School. He started his career in the United States Postal Service and retired as the Downtown Postmaster. He later worked at Love’s Bakery and the City & County of Honolulu, Parks & Recreations Department.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend, he is survived by his 7 children; Arthur (Skip) IV, Curtis, Shannon, Kirk, Cory, Hauoli, and Haunani; 32 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings Thomas Aiwohi, Pat Uyemura and Candace Picanco.
His calm spirit and gentle touch will be missed by all.
A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe, Oahu. Visitations begin at 5:30 p.m., Services at 6:30 p.m. Burial services to be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
