Arthur Golden's Obituary
Arthur Golden, 96, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully on May 8, 2022. Born and raised in Pachogue, NY, Arthur served proudly in the U.S. Navy as a Signalman 3rd Class during World War II. He moved to California where he began his 35 year career in the TV/Motion picture industry as a Sound Boom Man, His sound team won six Emmys for "Best sound in a TV comedy series" (Frazier and Cheers). He wrote an original screenplay based on WWII and held two patents on a hand tool. He was a devoted Husband and is survived by his wife of 43 years, Mary-Ann, step-daughter Pamela; grandchildren James, Morgan; great-granddaughters, Saoirse and Delaney; brothers in law: Robert and Raymond; sisters in law: Thelma, Betty, Donna, Dorothy and Cathi.
