With hearts full of gratitude, we celebrate the joyous life of Arturo Q. Cruz, a man whose hardworking spirit and unwavering kindness touched all who knew him.
Born on November 27th, 1933, in Cavite, Philippines, Arturo's journey was marked by dedication and love. He embarked on a distinguished 20-year career with the U.S. Navy, serving aboard the USS Badger as an EMC E-7. Proudly, he was part of the ship that brought back troops from Vietnam, reflecting his deep commitment to service.
After retiring from the Navy, Arturo continued his dedication by working at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard as a valued worker, bringing his integrity and responsibility to his role.
Arturo loved golfing and collecting cans, passions that showcased his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Family was the cornerstone of Arturo's life. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom were touched by his kind heart and supportive nature.
As we remember Arturo, we celebrate a life well-lived—a man who embodied the values of hard work, honesty, kindness, responsibility, and unwavering support for his loved ones.
