Aurelia Luis Felipe passed away unexpectedly in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 22, 2021. She was 78 years old and was born in Laoag City, Philippines.
Fondly called Aurie by her relatives, friends and co-workers, she was with Kahala Mall for 19 years and was known for her independence, resourcefulness and motherly disposition ready to extend a helping hand to anybody in need. She was also cheerful, kind and had a reputation for being neatly dressed in a fresh and newly pressed uniform.
Aurie is survived by her children: Liza Del Rosario (Engeenir Nitoy), Vera Clemente (Engineer Ernie), Rey Felipe (Nida), Mell Felipe-Cardenas (Ambassador Leoncio, Jr.), and Grace Dulay; her loving, loyal and long-time companion of 18 years: Peter Ugale Uganiza and bonus children; she have eight (8) grandchildren; and have four (4) great-grandsons; her best friend and former husband: Romeo Juan Felipe; and her brother: Jaime Hernando Luis, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
