Barbara Ann MacDonald's Obituary
Barbara Ann MacDonald (nee: Goldin) passed away peacefully during the early morning hours of November 26 in Honolulu. She endured ovarian cancer for over 6 years and finally succumbed to it. She was a wonderful spouse and Mother, survived by Husband Jim and son David. Preceded in death by her son Patrick. She came from a family of 5 with surviving brothers Ken and Steve and families on the mainland.
She was born in Mattapan, Massachusetts. She came to the islands in 1958. Graduating from the University of Hawaii at Manoa she majored in Art and took a keen interest in pottery, becoming involved in several pottery groups. She taught at Elementary schools on the windward side of Oahu and enjoyed the challenges involved. She was a resident of Kailua for over 50 years and was well known in her neighborhood.
