Benjamin Corpuz Agustin's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Benjamin Corpuz Agustin who was born on March 18, 1938 in the Philippines. His parents were Rosendo Agustin and Pelagia Agustin. He was the 2nd of five children.
He attended Camiling Palimbo Elementary, Camiling Rural High School and Fiati College where he earned his degree in Automotive and Combustion Engine. He began a career as a business man in the buy and selling of rice.
He retired in 2012 from Polynesian Cultural Center and BYU as a groundskeeper for 19 years. He lived in Kahuku. He was involved and a member of the Mormon Church.
He was married to Violeta Bruno on January 14, 1977 in Manila, Philippines. She was his big influence. His favorite phrase was "Finish school if you want to succeed."
His most important events in his life were being able to attend all the kids and grand kids graduations and weddings.
Benjamin was a handsome, hardworking, sacrificing, sweet, loving, humble, happy, friendly, proud, caring, brilliant, patient, understanding and hilarious man. He loved gardening and listening to the golden oldies such as 50's, 60's, 70's and ilokano medley.
Services for Benjamin will be held on Monday, July 15, 2019 at St. Roch Church in Kahuku. Visitation to begin at 6:30 p.m. and services at 7:30 p.m. Additional services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Valley of the Temples Mortuary Chapel. Visitation to begin at 9:30 a.m. and services at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Family will be having a luncheon from 12:30 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Mortuary Chapel Lanai.
