Bertha Sam Moi Pang Awa's Obituary
Bertha Sam Moi Pang Awa, a resident of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at her residence with her family by her side; she was 93 years old. Bertha was born to Tin Loy Pang and Tai Moe Lau.
Bertha was a retired food service supervisor for the Federal Government, United States Navy Exchange/laundry and food service and also a farmer.
She is survived by her sons, Bertram (Maxie) Awa and Joseph Awa, Jr.; daughters, Arline (Robert) Wilson, Sheila (Jerry) Iseri and Janice (Randy) Enos; 19 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren and 15 great- great-grandchildren.
Celebration of Life service for Bertha will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary (located at 45-425 Kamehameha Highway Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744); visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
