Bertha Blanche Johnston's Obituary
Bertha Blanche Johnston, 89, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away December 28, 2017 at her residence. She was born January 14, 1928 in Honolulu and was a retired office manager and bookkeeper for the Cathedral Gift Shop. Bertha was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas Scott Johnston.
She is survived by daughters, Lesley (Hano) Kalai and Leona (Robert Burns) Guest; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services over ashes will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at St. Ann Catholic Church, 46-129 Haiku Road, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Committal service and burial of ashes will be at 11:30 a.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.
